Isopropyl palmitate

Isopropyl palminate, IPP is a multi-functional fatty acid made of the ester of isopropyl alcohol and palmitic acid derived from vegetable oils. It acts as an emollient, moisturizer, wetting agent, and anti-static agent.

Also, IPP has excellent emollient and lubricant properties. Non-tacky, non-oily, fast spreading, and effective absorption, it is widely used as a wetting agent and fragrance enhancer.

Applications

Bath oils, skin creams, sunscreens, shaving creams, vanishing creams, hair conditioners, pre-shaves & aftershaves, shampoos, bath oils, aerosol antiperspirants, and deodorants.

• complies with current British Pharmacopoeia (BP), European Pharmacopoeia (EP)  United States Pharmacopoeia (USP)
• is free from the risk of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathies (BSE) and Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSE)
• does not contain CMR substances according to Regulation UE 1906/2007
• does not consist of and does not contain any genetically modified organisms (GMOs), which are not produced from GMOs 
• Halal certified complies with the current National Formulary (NF)
• does not contain any nanomaterial and no nanomaterials are used during the manufacturing process
